After growing up in suburban New Jersey, Michael Coronella moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was able to put his passion for outdoor exploration together with his love for photography. His stated intent; to share the infinite beauty of our natural areas with those who might not otherwise come to appreciate these lands.

His wilderness travels have taken him from the mountains of Alaska to the deepest recesses of the Grand Canyon. "Mike" is a co-founder of "The Hayduke Trail", an 800 mile long backcountry backpacking route across the Colorado Plateau region of the American south west region.
