For over four decades, Nielsen Studios of Chicago has produced some of the best creative product, all in keeping with the highest industry standards.

Over this time we have done movies and stills for DuPont, and creative projects for Quanex, General Electric, General Motors, Chrysler, Lindberg, Belden, Zapata, Sedco and Eastman Kodak to name but a few. We can supply samples on request.

We have taken photo images from 8”x10” to 35mm format over a period of 30 years; and then working with Eastman Kodak from 1995-1998 in high end digital formats. In that timeframe developing a process taking 17MB image files up to ten feet – this with K&S photo labs in Chicago (no longer in business).

In the photo journalistic field, assignments were done for Time, Life, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, New York Times, Look, Holiday, National Geographic, Reader’s Digest, Saturday Evening Post, Rangefinder and Chicago Magazine to name but a few.

We have done a full range of work from fashion to food; from architecture to art and from executive portraits to full annual reports.

Over the years, it was helpful with advertising clients to bring an “editorial look” to images that were to be placed in magazine advertisements and we did a good deal of this over the years. Advertising Aagencies wanted advertisements to blend with the editorial content within the magazine.

Today we can address all assignments in all formats; from the conventional to the digital. This includes conventional assignments and concept creations. In the case of the latter, we create images that extend text, be it advertising text or editorial text.

Over the past twenty years we have added sales and marketing services to our portfolio, and public relations plans that fit with specific sales and marketing efforts. See a sample of our location work.

We can fit our talents into most budgets; working on a day rate plus expenses or on a contract fee for a job; that includes all costs.

In many cases, we can work and deliver finished product via the Internet and over the past ten years have done this both with photo assignments and with writing assignments, as well as with web development projects.
